Choral Conducting Course


Francisca Branco is a native of Sintra, and has been an invaluable member of the Sintra International Singing and Choral Conducting Course since it's foundation in 2006. Musically talented from a young age, after initial piano studies, she continued her musical education at the Conservatório de Música de Sintra and Escola de Música do Conservatório Nacional.

She started singing lessons with the baritone Rui de Luna in 2008 and for the past three years has been soprano section leader on the annual Casole International Renaissance Polyphony School and personal assistant to the course's director, Ghislaine Morgan with whom she also studies singing.

Francisca recently graduated in Political Sciences and International Affairs from the Universidade Nova de Lisboa and plans to continue studying singing at postgraduate level.

Francisca sings in the Gulbenkian Choir, Lisboa à Cappella and with the Quinta da Regaleira project Macte Animo.
