Ghislaine Morgan is in much demand as a singer, singing teacher, adjudicator and lecturer. She has performed throughout Europe, India, Japan and the USA and has recorded for the Decca, EMI, Gimell, Naxos, Richmond, and Regent labels, the most recent release being Puccini Snr's Requiem Mass on Arte Nova. |

Ghislaine read music at Oxford, before training as a singer at the Royal College of Music, where she was awarded the Sacher Scholarship. “An exquisite soprano” ..... the recital was “lifted into ecstasy”. (Musical Times.) |

Ghislaine has worked regularly with many renowned groups such as The Monteverdi Choir, The Tallis
Scholars
and The Sixteen, as well as with the King's Consort, The Richard Hickox Singers and opera choruses such as The Aix-en Provence Festival Opera, The Bath Festival Opera and Opera de Lyon. She sang for 17 years with the choir of St. Bride's Church, Fleet Street,
receiving a special mention in the Gramophone for her recording of Mozart's Laudate Dominum. |

| Latterly she has pursued her own individual career, encompassing a wide range of musical styles. Solo engagements include a concert tour of South Africa singing Das Knaben Wunderhorn; recording the title role of Handel's Deborah for German radio; Finzi's Dies Natalis; Canteloube's Songs of the Auvergne; and work for the Mathieson Music School, Calcutta, 2 nd International Festival, Tel Aviv Festival for Vocal music, Sligo Festival of Baroque Music and Ballet Du Nord. According to demand she has appeared as a washing machine, impersonated a caveman, sung Mozart from under a tablecloth and tongue trilled in a Culcutta garden. |

Ghislaine's educational work is inspired by a passion for encouraging others to be expressive with confidence, and a desire to demystify vocal technique so that it can be both fun and simple to learn. She has a private practice in London and also teaches at Cambridge University and Dulwich College, from where she trains trebles for English National Opera, Glyndebourne Festival Opera and the Royal Opera House. She has directed Lawyers' Music, The Orlando Chamber Choir, the Reading Bach Choir, The Renaissance Singers and Twickenham Choral Society, and has directed workshops in Britain, Holland, Iceland, India, Italy and Spain. She is on the faculty of the National Youth Choirs of Great Britain, the Corso Internazionale Corale di Rimini and is the founder/director of the Sintra International Singing and Choral Conducting Course. |
